PARTNERSHIP WITH BLAINE MANOR
In our new program called PAWS ON LOCATION, Blaine Manor residents look forward to weekly visits from Animal Shelter dogs. Our Shelter Manager and a few volunteers take turns bring the dogs to the facility. It brightens the residents day; the power of a furry face can’t be matched! The Blaine Manor residents come from all directions in their walkers, wheelchairs or on foot to see the dogs of the week. The dogs have a grand time and receive as many biscuits as elderly hands can give them. The fuzzy visitors learn to relax a bit and be patient while waiting for their treat.

Join us at Hikin' Buddies! Each Wednesday ASWRV dogs will be vying for your attention at the Adams Gulch Trailhead, hoping you can take them for a hike. The Shelter brings family friendly, adoptable dogs to Adams Gulch from 9:30-1:00 and encourages members of the community to take the dogs out from some exercise.
