More information:
Now celebrating its 30th year of operation, the Animal Shelter has successfully adopted out over 12,000 dogs and cats. In addition to sheltering homeless pets, the Animal Shelter provides vital programs for the community from weekly no-cost spay/neuter clinics to Paws for Hunger, a pet food bank in partnership with The Hunger Coalition. Shelter animals provide weekly affection and companionship to seniors at Blaine Manor and share fun with families during the summer’s Hikin’ Buddies and Ketchum Town Walk programs.
The Dog Days of Summer annual benefit is the largest single source of income supporting these programs and the over 1500 animals that receive services from the Shelter each year.
